Yahoo Mail It has spam filters so most unwanted messages are automatically placed in the Spam folder. However, spam will sometimes end up in your inbox. If you report spam to Yahoo Mail, the company changes its filters to detect that particular type of spam in the future.
The instructions in this article apply to the web versions of Yahoo Mail and the Yahoo Mail mobile app for Android and iOS.
How to report spam in Yahoo Mail
To alert Yahoo Mail to spam that has passed the spam filter:

Install checkbox next to messages in your inbox that you want to report as spam.

Select » Spam» in the toolbar above your Inbox to move the message to your Spam folder.
