If you just have a doorbell, the only way to know that someone has come to your door and rang the doorbell is through a phone notification — unless you get an additional Chime device or connect a Ring device to your existing doorbell’s wiring . If not, then you will be the only one who knows that someone has rung the doorbell, but you can easily share this information with other people who live in the same house.
To get started, open the Ring app on your smartphone and tap on the Doorbell device in the top left corner of the screen.
Click on «General Users».
Click on «Add User».
Enter the email address of the person you want to grant access to, and then click OK.
After that, their email address will appear in the list, and under it will be written «waiting for an invitation», which says that they received an invitation, but have not yet responded to it.
They will receive their invitation in the form of an email with a link to where they will accept the invitation. Ask them to click on this link.
