Outlook remembers every address you enter in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields of an email message. Then, when you enter the first few letters of a name or email address, Outlook automatically suggests matching contacts. If Outlook remembers typos and old contacts that you don’t want to display in autocomplete list get rid of these records.
Instructions in this article apply to Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007; Outlook for Office 365; Outlook for Mac and Outlook Online.
Remove name or email address from Outlook autocomplete list
To remove a single contact from the autocomplete list:

Create a new email message.

AT field » To whom» enter the name or address you wish to delete. As you enter contact information, the autocomplete list displays available matches.

Press the key down arrow, to highlight the entry you want to remove from the list.

Select Delete (X to the right of the contact’s name). Or press a key removal .
Remove all addresses from Outlook autocomplete list
To clear the autocomplete list of all entries in Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013 and 2010:

Go to tab » File «.

Select Options .

AT dialog box » Outlook Options » select category » Mail «.

In chapter » Sending messages » select « Empty autocomplete list .

In the confirmation dialog, select Yes .

If you want to disable the autocomplete list and prevent Outlook from suggesting recipients, uncheck checkbox Use autocomplete list, to suggest names as you type in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields .

Click OK, to close the Outlook Options dialog box.
