Obviously, keep in mind that factory resetting Google WiFi will delete your Wi-Fi network and you won’t be able to connect to it, so make sure you’re ready to set up a new network right away.

To get started, open the Google WiFi app on your phone and tap on the tab on the right side with the settings gear icon and three other circles.

Next, click «Network Settings».

Click on Wi-Fi hotspots at the top. Also in brackets will be a number next to it.

Select «Factory Reset».

Click on «Factory Settings» at the bottom.

Click «Continue» when the pop-up appears.

This process will take about five minutes, and you can look at the progress bar below the text to see how far it has progressed.

Once the factory reset process is complete, click «Finish» at the bottom.

You will then be returned to the installation process where you can start over if you wish. Otherwise, just exit the app and turn off your Google WiFi devices if you plan to sell or move them.
