By default, the Netgear Arlo Pro camera system comes with several different modes that you can switch between depending on whether you are at home or not. However, you can customize settings for different modes. Here’s how to create your own modes in the Arlo app.

There are four default modes available: arming, disarming, scheduling, and geofencing. Unfortunately, none of these modes allow the camera to record motion without a constant warning. You can edit the default modes for this, but you may want to be able to easily switch between receiving alerts and receiving them. This is where you need to create your own mode.
To get started, open the Arlo app and click on the Mode tab at the bottom.
Select the Arlo Base Station under My Devices.
From here, you can click the pencil to edit an existing mode, or click Add Mode to create a new one. We are going to create a new one for this tutorial.
Enter a name for your new mode and then click «Next» in the upper right corner of the screen.
Then select the cameras you want to include in this new mode and click Next.
