If you plan to share your slideshow with your audience after the presentation is complete, you may want to consider adding appropriate mailto hyperlinks so they can easily answer any questions or comments.
Create email hyperlinks in PowerPoint
The easiest way to insert a hyperlink is to enter an existing email address and press Enter. This will automatically add a mailto link for you. If you hover your mouse over a link, a window will pop up telling you how to follow the link.
However, there are several other ways to deal with this. You can insert a mailto link directly into text or objects. To do this, select and right-click the text or object. Select «Link» from the menu that appears.
The Insert Hyperlink window opens. Enter your email address in the «Address» field. Note that Windows will automatically add «mailto:» in front of the address, so you don’t need to specify that. After entering, click OK.
The text or object you selected will now contain a hyperlink to the email address you entered. Hold Ctrl and click text or an object to follow a link.
