There are plenty of new games already on PlayStation VR, but you can’t expect new VR additions for the PlayStation 4 games you already play. There aren’t many, but today we have details on every PlayStation 4 expansion.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider is still a new game for PlayStation players and includes a VR add-on. You may already be familiar with Lara Croft and her family’s giant home. If you don’t, then Rise of the Tomb Raider gives you the option to create a hidden, web-filled Croft Family Manor.
The entire experience only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. Still, it’s an interesting walk around the house. You can select it from the main menu to play and it happens during the main story. Titled Blood Ties, it takes place after the death of Lara’s father. Since he did not leave a written will, Lara received an eviction notice and must find proof that the estate is rightfully hers.
The homestead is dilapidated and falling apart, but is absolutely filled with old memories of Lara. From drawings to paintings and more, there’s a lot to explore here. You can choose between playing with a Dualshock 4 controller or PlayStation Move controllers. Because this expansion takes place partly through the main story, you’ll need to finish the Syria part of the game before it opens so you can check.
