Audio streaming through the whole house is cool. If you already have a few Google Homes scattered around your home, it’s easy to do — a couple of switches and you’ll be ready to go.
How to Create an Audio Group on Google Home
Your first step is to set up audio groups in the Google Home app. You can create multiple groups with the same speakers, which is good if you have multiple houses and want to have multiple groups for different occasions.
To get started, launch the Google Home app, then tap the Devices icon in the top right corner.
From there, search the group for any speaker you want and tap the three-dot menu at the top right. Select «Create Group» from this menu.
On the next screen, give the group a name (use something Google Assistant can easily understand) and then select the other speakers you want to add to the group. You will need at least two speakers to form a group.
After adding columns, click the «Save» button to create the group. This should also create a new entry at the bottom of the Devices page, though I had to close the Home app and reopen it for this new card to show up.
