One of the best ways to extend your Amazon Echo is to install third-party Alexa Skills. However, if you’ve installed a Skill you don’t particularly like, here’s how to remove it from Amazon Echo.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with installing a ton of Alexa Skills since it doesn’t take up any storage space. But it’s a good idea to remove any Skills you don’t use, just to clear things up in the Alexa app, and also to prevent unwanted Skills from accidentally triggering on your Echo device.

To get started, open the Alexa app on your smartphone and tap the menu button in the top left corner of the screen.

From there, select «Skills» from the list.

Then click «Your skills» in the upper right corner of the screen.

You will then see a list of the Alexa skills you have installed on your Amazon Echo. Just click on the one you want to remove.

Click «Disable Skill» to remove it.

A confirmation popup will appear. Click «Disable Skill» to confirm the deletion.

That’s all there is to it! You can click the back arrow in the top left corner to return to the list of installed skills and select more to remove if you wish. Otherwise, you can exit the Alexa app.
