How to download the Instagram app for iPhone on your iPad

How to post to Instagram from your iPad

  9. The new option should now be visible in the first row of icons on the shared sheet. Press Instagram .

  10. An Instagram window will appear asking you to write a caption for the photo. If necessary, enter a caption and hashtags and click » Share» .

    You may be prompted to grant Instagram access to your photo library. You must agree to this request if you wish to continue posting.

  11. Your newly published post should now be visible on your Instagram profile.

How to view Instagram on your iPad

While you can browse IG through the iPhone app with its small window size and vertical-only layout, this is far from ideal. You better use web browser such as Safari which can expand to provide something similar to full screen mode, which is what Instagram is designed for.

  1. Open a browser on your iPad and go to
