Google Play Return Policy

The Google Play return policy is a bit complicated because each category in the Google Play store has its own return period and acceptable reasons for the return. If you want a refund for a game or other app, you can get an automatic refund within two hours, or request a manual refund within two days, although the latter is not guaranteed. Other categories, such as books and music, have their own rules.

Google Play refund after two-day limit

Google does not offer refunds after the two-day grace period under normal circumstances. The only way to get a refund directly from Google after two days is if you were the victim of a scam, in which case you are allowed to request a refund within 120 days of the fraudulent purchase. Other cases are not considered.

If you would like a refund to exceed the two-day limit, you will need to contact the app developer directly. This is more difficult as you need to find the developer’s email address and send an email asking for a refund. Developers are not required to return money, so this method is not guaranteed. It’s best to just state your position honestly, be polite, and hope for the best.
