Open Mail and select » View» > » Customize Toolbar…”.
Mail has a separate toolbar for composing messages. To edit this toolbar, open a new email or reply to an existing one and select » View» > » Customize Toolbar…”.
Add items by clicking and dragging them onto the toolbar until you see a green plus sign, then release. Remove items by dragging them from the toolbar to the Customize Toolbar window. You can also reorder items by clicking and dragging them on the toolbar.
Use elements » Space» and » Flexible space» to group elements in an order that makes sense to you.
Select dropdown menu » Show» in the lower left corner to select the element symbol: » Only icon» » Icon and text» or » Text only» .
When you’re done, choose Ready .
