To enable mirroring on an old Samsung HDTV, you must have Samsung AllShare Cast hub which allows your TV to connect to your smartphone.

The AllShare hub has been discontinued for some time. These instructions are here for archival purposes.

  1. Connect the Samsung AllShare Cast Hub to a power source, then wait until the red light turns on.

  2. Connect the AllShare Cast wireless hub to your HDTV with an HDMI cable.

  3. Select » Source» or » Menu» on the remote control, then select the appropriate input source for the HDMI cable to connect.

  4. The AllShare Cast Wireless Hub LED will blink red when the TV is detected.

  5. Click button reset on an AllShare Cast wireless hub.

  6. After the reset, the indicator should be solid blue, indicating that the TV is connected and ready to be mirrored to a Samsung smartphone.

  1. Open app drawer on your Samsung smartphone and select » Settings» .
