When it’s time to start playing music from your phone, there’s no better way than with speaker Bluetooth . Whether you are using smartphone iPhone or Android you can connect your Bluetooth speaker to your phone to start the party.
The information below should apply to any iPhone and any Android, no matter what manufacturer made the device.
How to turn on pairing mode on your speaker
Before pairing, you must put your Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode so that your phone can detect it for initial setup. While each speaker enters pairing mode differently, these two suggestions should help you figure out how to get the speaker to fit. If the tips below do not apply to your device, please refer to your speaker manufacturer’s instruction manual for further instructions.
- Press and hold button power : Many Bluetooth speakers enter pairing mode by turning off the speaker and then turning on the device while holding your finger on the power button. To notify you that the speaker is in pairing mode, it usually makes a sound or its indicator light flashes quickly.
- Hold button Pairing: Some Bluetooth speakers have a dedicated button to put the device into pairing mode. Locate the button on your device with the Bluetooth symbol next to it, then hold it down until you hear the speaker make a sound or its indicator light starts flashing rapidly.
Now that your Bluetooth speaker is discoverable, it can be connected to your iPhone or Android phone.
How to Connect a Bluetooth Speaker to an iPhone
The process of pairing a Bluetooth speaker with an iPhone only needs to happen once. Once the Bluetooth speaker is successfully paired with your iPhone, it should automatically connect every time you turn it on.

Start by putting your Bluetooth device into pairing mode.

On your iPhone, open Appendix » Settings» .

Select Bluetooth .

Make sure your Bluetooth features are turned on at the top of the screen. If the switch is green, your Bluetooth is already enabled and you don’t need to change anything. If not, select the radio button to turn it on.

Scroll down to » Other devices» and find the name of your bluetooth speaker in the list. Be patient as this may take a while to appear.
Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is still in pairing mode during this time.

When it appears, select it to connect. Pairing the two devices will take a few seconds. When they are done, the status will be updated to Connected on your screen.
How to Connect a Bluetooth Speaker to an Android Phone
As with the iPhone, the process of connecting a Bluetooth speaker to an Android device only needs to happen once. Once the Bluetooth speaker is successfully paired with your device, it should automatically connect every time you turn it on.

Open Appendix » Settings» .

Switch to Connected devices and flip the switch to turn on Bluetooth if it’s not already enabled.

Select Bluetooth to view options.

Select » Connect new device to put the Bluetooth device into pairing mode.

Find the name of your new Bluetooth speaker in the provided list. Be patient as this may take a while to appear.
Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is still in pairing mode during this time.

Select your presenter’s name to connect to it. It will take a few seconds for the devices to pair. When this is done, your screen will shift to show that the speaker is connected.
