While you can change your username on other online platforms, Spotify does not allow you to change it, especially if you have already created an account. But you have some other options.
On the registration stage Spotify lets you use your email address or account Facebook . If you sign up with your email address, Spotify automatically generates a username in the form of random numbers and letters, which many users don’t like.
However, if you choose to sign up using your Facebook account, Spotify will show your Facebook name.

Create a new account
The Spotify system maps playlists to accounts, making it difficult for you to change your username. But you can create a new account with a new username and then contact Spotify customer service, so they can transfer everything, including your playlists, to your new account. To do this, you need to close your current Spotify account first. If you have a subscription, you must cancel it before closing your account.
Closing an account means you will lose your playlists, playlist subscribers, and your music/library collections. But you can contact Spotify support to help you switch to a new account within seven days of closing your old one.
Once this is done, create a new account with your new username. Please note that you cannot use your username twice, even if you have closed your old account.
