Facebook offers more than 100 languages to choose from, and you can read. You can switch languages in a few easy steps.
There are two main ways to choose a different language for Facebook. If you are on a computer, you can do this in your account settings or directly from news feed . You can also change it in the mobile browser and Android app.
These instructions cover all devices on all platforms; exceptions are noted throughout the article.
You cannot change your Facebook language through the iOS mobile app. However, you can change the default language by selecting » Settings» > » Main» > » Language and region» > » iPhone language» .
Choosing a different language to use on Facebook
It’s easy to change the language in which Facebook displays text in your account settings.

Click or tap on the arrow on the right side of the Facebook menu bar to the right of the Quick Help question mark.

Select Settings at the bottom of this menu.

Select the » Language and region » on the left.

Click or tap Change next to Facebook language.

Click or tap arrows at the bottom «Show Facebook in this language» and select a different one from the drop-down menu.

Click or tap the blue buttons Save Changes to apply the new language to Facebook.
Change Facebook Language via News Feed
Another way to change the language you see on Facebook is through the News Feed:

Go to news feed page your his profile . Find the language menu on the right (it may be under the ad units). Select a language from the list.

Click Change the language .

You can change the language again by clicking on it in the same window.

Click Change the language .
The button text will be in the language you are switching from, but otherwise it looks the same.

Another option is to click sign a plus ( + ) to see all supported languages.

Select language into this screen to immediately apply it to your Facebook.

Click Translate Facebook .
Change Facebook Language in Mobile Browser
If you are using Facebook on a mobile browser (Android or iPhone), you can change the language using the menu button:

Click the menu button in the top right corner.

Scroll down the «Help and Settings» section and click » Language» .

Select a language from the list to change Facebook to that language immediately. Use the same steps to change it back.
Change Facebook language with android app
Another place where you can change the language for Facebook is using the Android app. Just open the settings and select any language from the list.
These instructions do not apply to Facebook Lite.

Click menu icon in the upper right corner.

Scroll down and tap Settings and privacy > Language.

Select a language from the list; the language will change automatically.

Follow the same steps to change the language back.
