Virgin Mobile offers two types of plans to its customers: Inner Circle and Data Love . Inner Circle is not a prepaid plan, although Inner Circle members are required to use AutoPay. Data Love, Data Love+, and Data Love Unlimited are prepaid plans. Everyone has roaming capability and hassle-free access. While prepaid wireless carrier Virgin Mobile stands out for its payment for the price and trendy marketing to a younger demographic, wireless roaming has not been its forte in the past. However, the situation has improved significantly since the time when the service did not offer roaming connections at all.

Virgin mobile roaming policy

Virgin Mobile has a network that reaches 290 million people across the country. In addition, it has roaming partners to expand its coverage even further. The Inner Circle and Data Love plans include free roaming. No action is required to use the service.

Data Love policy in roaming : Virgin Mobile prepaid customers using Data Love receive 50 minutes of domestic voice roaming every month. However, internal text (SMS) roaming and data roaming not included.
Roaming policy Inner Circle: Inner Circle members receive 800 minutes of domestic voice roaming and 100 MB of data roaming. The Inner Circle plan is for iPhone only.

What is roaming?

Whenever you and your device leave areas where Virgin Mobile offers service, you are roaming. You may not notice because your phone is communicating with another company’s network that has partnered with Virgin Mobile to maintain a larger coverage area. In the past, cellular operators charged extra for roaming minutes. Virgin Mobile does not charge extra for roaming, but does impose a limit on the amount of roaming. The company warns that your service may slow down significantly when you are outside of Virgin Mobile’s network.
