Telephone. Electric socket. X-ray machine. Have you ever heard of them? All of them made their debut at the World’s Fair.
These days, however, the inventors have moved elsewhere. Forget the World’s Fair and start walking towards the Maker Faire This is the place for modern innovation.

The first Maker Faire took place in San Francisco in 2006. It was launched and managed by Make Magazine, but it was the brainchild of technology writer Dale Dougherty, who believed he would be the place where the «creator» in all of us you can go out and play.
