We recently explored the potential of different versions of the GeForce GTX 1650 in modern games. Based on the results of the review, we can conclude that the video card is quite suitable for an undemanding gamer. Now consider the capabilities of the video card, which for a long time remained one of the most popular models in the entry-level price segment. We are talking about the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, presented back in 2016. It received a second wind during the last mining boom, when modern video cards disappeared from the market or received an inadequate price tag, and in order to somehow fill the market with affordable solutions, Nvidia and partners increased the supply of GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is based on the GP107 GPU with 768 stream processors. It was later replaced by a GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with a TU117 GPU with 896 stream processors. This line was further expanded by an accelerated version of the GeForce GTX 1650 with GDDR6 memory and the GeForce GTX 1650 Super on a more powerful GPU.
You can compare the characteristics of GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with the following models of its class according to the table.
Video adapter | GeForce GTX 1650 Super | GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 | GeForce GTX 1650 | GeForce GTX 1050 Ti |

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC Gaming video card (04G-P4-6253-KR) will take part in the testing, which is discussed in detail in a separate review.
This is a representative of the cheap versions of the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with simple cooling and no external power supply. Since the video card is limited to 75 W that the PCI Express connector can provide, it shows frequencies that change under load and Boost depends on the specific game.
A small factory acceleration is provided. The base frequency is 1354 MHz with an average Boost Clock of 1468 MHz. The effective frequency of the memory is at the level of 7000 MHz, which corresponds to the norm.

In fact, it can be said that this is an analogue of the simplest video cards of the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti series with recommended frequencies. In rare games like Horizon Zero Dawn, frequencies up to 1785 MHz could be observed, in Days Gone and most other applications, frequencies were closer to the 1600-1700 MHz level. Short-term peak bursts were observed up to 1810 MHz.
When overclocking, the base frequency was increased by 130 MHz.
The overall level of Boost frequencies increased by approximately 100 MHz. The memory was able to work at an effective frequency of 8808 MHz.
