To add an image or photo to a post you’re composing in Gmail on the Internet using a desktop browser, follow these steps.
Make sure the message you are writing is public and visible.
Holding down key Shift click full screen mode in the composition panel to open it in a separate browser window.
Drag the image from its folder on your computer to the desired location in the message.
You can also paste an image to the desired location in an email from the clipboard using control + V (Windows, Linux) or command + V (Mac).
