How to Recover Deleted Videos from Your Android Phone or Tablet

It’s easy to accidentally delete videos from your phone. Restoring those deleted videos on Android is a bit tricky, but it can be made easier with the right tools. One of these tools is DiskDigger an Android root app that retrieves videos and other deleted files from your device if you haven’t deleted them too long ago.

How to recover videos on Android using DiskDigger

To get back deleted videos:

  1. Download and install DiskDigger from the Google Play store. Allow any DiskDigger request permissions.

  8. Check the boxes next to the files you want to recover, then click Reestablish at the bottom of the screen.

  9. The application will ask you where you want to restore your files. Choose from three options:

    • Android : Restore video on Android device. Return the file to its original location, move it to an SD card, or send it to any other location of your choice.
    • Online file storage : Ask DiskDigger to save the video to Dropbox, Google Drive, or another app that sends files to the cloud or other storage.
    • desktop or server : Send file to desktop or server via FTP if configured.

  10. When DiskDigger finishes placing the resurrected video where you directed it, close the application and play your video.
