There are many ways to be notified about the status of your Amazon packages. For example, the Amazon app on your phone might send you a push notification. But wouldn’t it be cooler if Alexa told you right from your Echo device?

To set this up, start by opening the Alexa app on your phone and tap the menu button at the top left of the screen.
From there, select «Settings» at the bottom.
Click on Notifications.
Select Purchase Notifications.
Click the toggle switch to the right of Alexa Send Notifications.
If this setting is enabled, you will receive notifications on all your Echo devices every time your Amazon package status changes to «Out for Delivery». After you ask Alexa to play the notification, she will tell you what package it is in (telling you the items being delivered) and let you know that it has been delivered.

Of course, you can also ask Alexa when your Amazon package will be delivered at any time during the delivery process, whether or not it arrives on that day.
