The Amazon Echo Spot makes a fantastic bedside alarm clock and there are several watch faces to choose from. Here’s how to change the watch face to find one that suits your tastes.

Start by swiping down from the top of the screen and then tap on the settings gear icon.

Scroll down and then tap Home & Clock.

Click the «Theme» option.

From there, you’ll have three options to choose from: analog, digital, or personal photo. It’s pretty obvious, but we’ll quickly go through each one.

Both the Analog and Digital options have six different watch faces to choose from, so when you tap on one, swipe left or right to view them.

When you find the one you like, click on the check mark at the top.

If you choose Personal Photo, you’ll first start by choosing a digital or analog watch face (there are two of them to choose from). Then click on the checkmark at the top to continue.

You can then select a photo from an album that’s already uploaded to your Prime Photos account, or upload a photo to the Alexa app with Echo Spot settings.

To do the latter, open the Alexa app and click on the menu button in the top left corner. From there, click on «Settings» and select Echo Spot from the list of Echo devices.

Scroll down and tap «Select Photo» under «Home Screen Background». You will then select a photo from your phone’s camera and it will be set as the background on your Echo Spot’s watch face.

That’s all there is to it! It’s nice to be able to use your own photo as a watch background, especially since the default watch faces aren’t anything special.
