What is Google Go?
In 2017, Google launched Google Go. The lightweight application has been launched as part of a suite of applications aimed at users in emerging markets. The overall vision of Android Go was (and still is) to serve the «next billion users».
Google Go is a lightweight application designed to «access information both online and in the world around you.» Google Go is only 7 MB in size (and therefore uses less space on your device) and continues to work even if you have an unreliable connection.
What does Google Go do?
Since its launch, Google Go has only been available in a few countries and on Android Go mobile devices. But now, as announced in this post on The Keyword, Google Go can be downloaded from the Play Store worldwide.
