To have new emails sent to your Gmail account and viewed in the iPhone or iPad Notification Center, follow these steps.

Make sure you have the Gmail app and that you are logged into your accounts.

Make sure the radio button next to » Allow Notifications» is enabled or is green, and the parameter » Notification Center» under heading » Warnings» is under the blue flag.

Switches Sounds and Badges manage additional alerts for your notifications in Gmail. Sounds plays a sound to alert you to a notification. «Icons» puts the number on the app’s icon on the home screen.

The Gmail app has its own settings for the messages you’ll receive notifications about. Here’s how to set them up.

Open the Gmail app.
Click icon » Additionally» (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner and then scroll down and click » Settings» .
If you use multiple accounts in the app, click on the one you want to set up. On the next screen, select Notifications .
