  3. Make sure the radio button next to » Allow Notifications» is enabled or is green, and the parameter » Notification Center» under heading » Warnings» is under the blue flag.

The Gmail app has its own settings for the messages you’ll receive notifications about. Here’s how to set them up.

  1. Open the Gmail app.

  2. Click icon » Additionally» (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner and then scroll down and click » Settings» .

    You have three options here. All New Post sends you everything that comes. Only high priority only alerts you to messages that Gmail marks as important. None turns off notifications.
